YOU HAVE THE POWER TO SAVE A LIFE
I am running this year in the 28th annual AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run. Please support me by donating to AID Atlanta to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and to provide critical social services and healthcare for people living with HIV.
We can stop the transmission of the HIV virus by providing care to people affected by HIV and placing them on the necessary medication regimen that results in an undetectable viral load.
AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run is an opportunity for the community to come together to remember those we have lost to HIV/AIDS and celebrate the achievements we have made in the fight against this disease.
I am running in memory of my friend Don Thompson. Don and I used to run together on the beach in Huntington Beach, California where Don led the city's effort to establish a dog park in 1995. He died from HIV-related complications on December 31, 2004 and this run seems like a special way to honor his memory and his dog Diggins. We love you, Don, and will not forget you.
Thank you for supporting me and helping to make a difference in someone’s life!
